Education Staff

We, at St. Stephen the Martyr School, are very proud of our Faculty. St. Stephen the Martyr School currently has 42 faculty members to provide challenging academic curriculum to our students. With their abiding commitment, our goals for the coming school year will be achieved.

Mrs. Julie Perrault, Principal

On behalf of the school staff, I welcome you to St. Stephen the Martyr School.  It is truly my privilege to be a part of this exceptional Catholic school community. I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and I attended Catholic schools from kindergarten through 12th grade. After earning a bachelors degree in both English and education at The University of Tulsa, I returned to Omaha and began teaching middle school language arts in the Omaha Archdiocesan schools. Throughout my experience, I gained extensive knowledge in curriculum alignment and the school improvement process.  In 2015, my then principal and a coworker approached me about the Creighton University Leadership program. With assistance from the Ignite the Faith Scholarship Fund, I was able to attend Creighton University and earn a certificate in Catholic leadership and a MS degree in educational administration. In 2017-2018, I was fortunate to serve the school and community of St. Columbkille as the assistant principal. During that time, I also had the opportunity to attend the principal academy professional development sessions hosted by the Omaha Catholic Schools office. My greatest strengths include building relationships and developing the potential in others. On a personal note, I am a proud mother of two sons, and I have enjoyed watching them grow into young men. I am also a big fan of basset hounds, reading, and art.  I am extremely excited to work with the faith filled community of St. Stephen the Martyr as we continue to be guided by our mission:  “United in Christ to ignite the joy of faith, community, and learning”

Dr. Joe Greco, Assistant Principal

Dr. Greco graduated from Hastings College in 2004 with a B.A. in Psychology, and went on to earn his M.A. in teaching and Ed.D in Educational Leadership from College of St. Mary in 2015. He spent two years as Principal at St. Bernard, and the seven years prior teaching Social Studies and coaching multiple sports at Millard South High School. He and his wife, Melissa, have been married since 2009, and have three children. Melissa is an alum of Skutt and Creighton, and Dr. Greco grew up near St. Stephen’s attending Mass and Religious Education at the parish in his youth. He is a Disney World fanatic, and loves playing hockey in his free time.
