Where did you work before St. Stephen the Martyr?
I’m a 20-year veteran with FOCUS – the Fellowship of Catholic University Students
 
Where did you grow up? Where did you go to school?
I grew up in Nebraska and spent my glorious college years at UNL
 
Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.): 
Single and ready to mingle… I have two sisters and there are grandkids between them. Ma and Pa are living the retired life in Lincoln, Ne.
 
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
I love a nice whiskey and a pipe with some black vanilla cavendish tobacco
 
What do you like to do for fun? What do you like to do to unwind/relax?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE to cook and to try new recipes and then to cook for family and friends – and yes… I DO hire out.
 
What’s your least favorite chore around the house?
FOLDING. SOCKS!
 
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a lawyer when I grew up.
 
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I can play guitar and piano and I have spent the last 30 years coaching volleyball on all levels.
 
What is your favorite food?
My mom’s cooking!
 
What is your favorite sweet treat?
Reese’s peanut butter cups or Kit Kats
 
What’s the best compliment you’ve ever received?
“If it wasn’t for you investing in him, I may have never married my husband.”
 
What three items would you take with you to a deserted island?
something to start fire with, writing tablet and a water purifier
 
What’s your idea of a perfect day?
That’s a tough one. I’d say April 25th. Because it’s not too hot, not too cold. All you need is a light jacket.
 
What do you enjoy most about working at St. Stephen the Martyr? 
I really do get a front-row seat at watching the Lord work miracles in the lives of people.

Encounter… Always encounter.
 
What advice do you have for others to grow their Catholic faith and relationship with Jesus Christ?
