The Pastor’s Connection – May 24, 2018

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us….” Heb 12:1

At Martyr Madness this past March, we raised $28,000 in the Adopt-a-Project campaign to fund four major repair / renovation projects.  Many people have stepped forward and contributed to our first four projects on our Adopt-a-Project list.  Here is our second update!

Project #1 – Replacement of the Dining room windows. – Done!

Project #2 –  the Rectory Patio is underway.

Project #3 – Landscaping is in the plan formation phase.

Project #4 – Replacement of the School doors. – Done!

We will bring you further updates as the other projects near completion.  We are grateful to everyone that supported the Adopt-a-Project funding at Martyr Madness.

We raised $13,297.17!!  Way to go!

We finished the campaign with 137 donors contributing to Knock Out our Adopt-a-Project list.

As a parish, we should feel grateful and humbled by the generosity of so many.  We are especially grateful to the 21 first time givers and the 11 donors that are not registered at St. Stephen’s.  Their generous contributions will enable St. Stephen’s to continue our mission to be a community for all to encounter Christ, know Christ, and proclaim Christ.

We have 126 parishioner families that supported the parish needs.  You are truly dedicated disciples.

It is truly a wonderful and humbling thing to be part of this parish family.

As a parish family, we can together, fix that roof!  Thank you for your support!!!
