Jesus gave us the framework for how we are to live as faithful and fruitful members of His Church. If we truly embraced these two greatest commandments, our lives would certainly be shaped and formed by love: God’s love for us, and our love for God. In turn, this gift of love would be poured out upon every person we encounter in our daily lives. This is at the heart of our parish mission statement. By sharing the gift of love, we hope to be a “community for all to encounter Christ, know Christ, and proclaim Christ.”

The Lord has formed us into this family of faith for a purpose. God has wonderful work for us to do, so that the Good News of Jesus Christ can be received and joyfully shared by us. I hope that you are all ready to embrace our common call to love God and neighbor, to become a “community for all” by sharing our lives and God-given gifts with others.

In Christ,

Fr. Dave Belt
