Tell us about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc.): 
Mike and I have been married for almost 22 years and we have Abby who is a sophomore at Rockhurst University in Kansas City and Aric is a freshman at Bennington High School.
 
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends?
Play board games or card games, do puzzles, walk by the lakes, bake.
 
What do you like to do for fun? What do you like to do to unwind/relax?
Watch movies.
 
What’s your least favorite chore around the house?
Dusting.
 
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
Doctor.
 
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I like to crochet and do Sudoku puzzles.
 
What is your favorite food?
Tacos.
 
What is your favorite sweet treat?
Tiramisu.

Mike, Abby, And Aric
 
What’s your idea of a perfect day?
A cookout potluck with yard games and my whole extended family.
 
What do you enjoy most about working at St. Stephen the Martyr? 
The sense of home and family that I feel with my coworkers.
 
Which word in our mission statement has the most impact on you? Why?
Encounter. Encountering Jesus happens to me in many ways, especially when I attend Mass, when I speak with parishioners, when I worked with middle schoolers, or when I help parents and families.
 
What advice do you have for others to grow their Catholic faith and relationship with Jesus Christ?
Don’t give up. There are highs and lows in your relationship with Jesus, just as there are in any relationship. Anything really worth it, is worth putting your time and effort into.
