November Feast Days

The Month of November is traditionally known as the “Month of the Dead” in the Catholic calendar. November is the last month of the Catholic year, as the Liturgical cycle begins again at the start of Advent when we wait in hopeful expectation of the Birth of Christ. This includes two special Feast Days: All Saints Day and All Souls Day.

November begins with All Saints Day, a day to honor the Saints canonized by the Church. Catholics pray for their intercession for their own holiness and the holiness of others. This is a Holy Day of Obligation.

The Church is not a tollhouse, it is the house of the Father, where there is a place for everyone, with all their problems.
—  Pope Francis,   Evangelii Gaudium 47
