Living Your Faith With Joy
Easter is not just a single day, it is an entire season in which we joyfully reflect on the Resurrection of Jesus. This amazing event is too important and beautiful to spend only a single day celebrating.
Jesus conquered death for all of us! It is because Jesus rose from the dead that we believe we can too. He is calling all of us to new life! Our own resurrection began with our baptism. Each and every day, the Lord is inviting us closer to Him. Jesus is calling your family to grow in a relationship with Him.
Our faith and relationship with the Lord is meant to bring us happiness and fulfillment. Parents should show their kids how Jesus brings joy and completion to their lives. Look for ways to remember and celebrate the joy of your faith as a family!
Try this with your kids!
When you eat dinner as a family each evening, take some time to discuss how Jesus was present in your day. Go around the table and invite each family member to share one story of how God was part of their day. Be a good example and go first, help your kids learn to see the Lord and their faith as part of their daily lives. Discuss as a family: How does your faith bring you joy?
