Lector & EMHC Ministry
Lay ministers assist during Mass by proclaiming the Word of God and distributing Holy Communion.
Lector: Serve the parish by proclaiming the Word of God as a lector. Lectors assist during Mass by prayerfully reading Scripture and helping the congregation hear God’s Word.
- EMHC: Serve our parish as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion (EMHC). These ministers assist the clergy in distributing the Body and Blood of Christ during Mass and may also bring the gift of the Eucharist to those who are sick or homebound.
